Data Deletion Request
DeepJournal gives you control over your data. You can delete your information
without contacting support.
In-app deletion (recommended)
1. Open Settings → Privacy
2. Choose one of:
- Delete All Journal Data — removes sessions, messages, memories,
suggestions, and reports while keeping your account
- Delete Account — permanently removes your account and all associated
data
Deletion is immediate on our servers for the data types listed below.
Email deletion request
If you cannot access the app, email support@deepjournal.app with:
- Subject:
Data Deletion Request - The email address associated with your account (or your user ID if known)
- Whether you want full account deletion or journal data only
We will verify ownership and complete the request within 30 days, as
required by GDPR Article 17 and the California Consumer Privacy Act (CCPA).

Subscription records managed by Apple and RevenueCat may be retained by those
providers according to their policies. Cancelling your subscription in Apple
Account Settings is separate from account deletion.
